“ I took my family there Christmas Eve for a beautifully charming dinner by the water. Every table was filled. Food was great - we had the salads, Mezzalune di Ricotta E Spinachi (half moon ravioli) & Mare E Monte (squid ink pasta dish). All were delicious with nice presentation. The dessert was amazing! ”
“ FABULOUSO!! A beautiful night under the stars and calm water with amazing food! We started off with a dirty and expresso martinis, Pera E Arugula and Crochetti DI Pollo YUM! We savored every single bite! Our entrees were Ravioli D' Aragosta (lobster) and Pollo Alla Boscailoa with a side of ciabatta bread - YUM! We literally liked our plates clean. “ I think it's one of the best Italian restaurants Sicilian style. The food is just great. Their pasta with Chanterelle mushrooms is amazing and definitely you should try the cannoli - it's better than in Italy! You can sit inside or outside on the deck waterfront. ”
“ Luna Blu! I couldn't help but mentally translate it to "blue moon" (even if translation is most likely something else haha), so it would be a rarity. If you can, try and get a seat outside. It's nice to sit next to the water and look at the docked boats, the flames from the heaters, the sky, and the water! Breathe in the air! I got myself a ceci con malone (a weekly special which is a chickpea and cantaloupe melon salad) and their cioppino. Salmon! Calamari! Bread! Clams! Mussels! Shrimp! Zesty tomato-based sauce! Their cioppino has everything haha. I finished my meal with a double cappuccino and mocha tiramisu. The staff is attentive and friendly. I absolutely enjoyed my visit there. Everything was delicioso! I look forward to trying out their other offerings too! ”
“ Birthday season is in high effect so I'll be eating out more often lol Sea---food tonight Italian cuisine and whatever the birthday girl wants. Started with Calamari and zucchini Heirloom tomato and cucumber salad Mare monte (squid ink pasta) Cioppino Crusted pistachio sea bass Tiramisu No complaints! “ We stayed at the hotel next door and walked by. I saw the great reviews so my wife and I thought we'd give it a shot. We didn't have reservations but we they were able to seat us out on the back deck on the water facing the bay. Stunning!! The hostess was friendly and our server Eli was really great. Food and drinks were super yummy. My wife had the ravioli and I had the filet. So delicious. Will for sure come back. I highly recommend this place. ”
“ Date of Visit: 8/24/2024 We visited the Italian restaurant Luna Blu located on Main Street in Tiburon last Saturday afternoon. The weather was very nice on the day, not windy and the temperature was warm and comfortable. Luna Blu was established in 2013, the couple owner Renzo and Crystal Azzarello was impressed by the romantic atmosphere in Tiburon and decided to open this nice restaurant by the shore. The name Luna Blu means blue moon in Italian, which relates to their honeymoon and also something special and rare. Triple Espresso Martini $15 I got the espresso martini. Love the taste and the creamy texture of this cocktail. Sunset in Tiburon $15 Husband got the sunset in Tiburon. This cocktail was made with 2 different rums, mixed with pineapple juice, orange juice, and grenadine and layered into a beautiful sunset. Polipo Alla Griglia $20 We got the grilled octopus as the appetizer. The octopus tentacle was chewy and soft. On the side it was bell pepper sauce and lime aioli. Linguine Alle Vongole $31 I got the linguine pasta with fresh manila clams and cherry tomatoes. The linguine was tasty and got a touch of chili flakes. Risotto Prosciutto E Gamberi $34 Husband got the Parmesan Cheese risotto with tiger prawns and wrapped in Prosciutto Di Parma. Chocolate Martini $15 We got the chocolate martini to pair with our dessert. Mixed with chocolate vodka and Dorda Double chocolate liqueur, and very rich and creamy with chocolate rimmed glass. Mocha Tiramisu $12 One of my favorite desserts is the tiramisu. The mocha tiramisu was homemade with ladyfingers soaked in espresso, and layered with mascarpone and chocolate mousse. The texture was a little wet, but love the mix of alcohol in it. ”
“ Our recent dinner visit to Luna Blue was highly enjoyable - the location is great, the food is excellent, and the view is 2nd to none :-) Tip: Patio seating when it's cool is enhanced by heat lamps that help keep the guests comfortable Despite the fact that we went without making reservations, we got a good table. Service was on-point, and our server did an exceptional job taking care of us. Over and above the food and the service, the ambaince was chill and relaxing; we never felt rushed at any time during the visit. Highly recommended! ”
